Important Notes & Best Practices

  • Keep your Webhook URL private โ€” anyone with it can send signals to your connected accounts.
  • If you're not familiar with alert syntax, check our documentation or use the Message Tools.
  • If you're new to the system, start with a demo account and send some test alerts before going live.
  • Youโ€™ll need a paid TradingView plan to use Webhook notifications.

Troubleshooting Tips

If nothing happens when your TradingView alert fires:

  • Check the alert log/history in TradingView to confirm the alert actually triggered
  • Verify the Webhook URL in the alert is correct and linked to the intended license
  • Check History logs for message format errors, inactive connections, or other issues
